Jo Hall has been teaching self defence programs since earning her first black belt in 1997 in tae kwon do.
Since then she has gone on to earn her 2nd dan in tae kwon do and a 3rd dan in bujinkan ninjutsu.
In 2007 Jo started a business in Sydney Australia teaching her own system of martial arts and also personal training and massage.
Having moved to Stockholm in 2009, Jo and her partner Sofi have started Good to go, providing personal training, massage and martial arts, and they have started a Nature wandering program in the Stockholm area, and will be starting regular martial arts classes in April 2011.
With a firm belief that everybody can learn how to defend themselves Jo had set out to develop a system which is effective whether you have been training for 1 session or for 30 years.
Session outline
For this session the participants will learn:
- the basics of striking: how, where and when
- the psychology of self defence
- escaping from common holds
We teach with a philosophy of first try not to get into a situation, and in the event that you do get into a situation then we aim to teach you effective techniques to use to get yourself out safely.
